Thorfinn is a skilled warrior from the desert south of Knotwood Forest. He is a former warrior general and is considered
the strongest man in Narvidia.
Thorfinn was born and raised in the barbarian village of Stoneaxe with his brother and sister. Being the elder son, he
was taught from a young age to fight hard and lead well. He became the chief of his clan and led his men in many
successful battles against the dark elves. However, during a battle with one band of dark elves near the edge of the
desert, another band was raiding the village of Stoneaxe. Thorfinn returned to find his home destroyed, his brother
nowhere to be found, and his sister half-dead. Desperate to find aid for his wounded sister, he set off south to find
help. She died shortly before he encountered Culric, who
promised to try and help Thorfinn get his sister resurrected by a Necromancer. Though the Necromancer failed to revive
her, Thorfinn decided to join Culric, hoping that in traveling with the wizard he would find this lost
brother, Falkinn.
Thorfinn is a gruff and stalwart fighter who will never back down, no matter the cost. He is stubborn and tends to be
grumpy at any given time, though he can also be surprisingly gentle. He doesn’t like to share his feelings with
others, but he also doesn’t mind letting everyone know what he thinks, particularly if he is unhappy. He has a great
amount of stamina and has devastating skill with the axe. He is somewhat slow-moving and inflexible, but is immensely
strong and resilient. He is also very good at defending himself, often seeming untouchable in battle. |
