Dhinn is an archer and former scout from the elvish city of
Dellcove. He is a master marksman and is regarded as the most skilled archer in Narvidia.
Dhinn is the only child of and elvish seamstress. His father, an Alfyrian vagabond named Valwin, has never met his
birth son. As the result of the unnatural union between wood elf and Alfyrian, Dhinn is sterile, a fact that he has always
kept secret.
Dhinn’s life changed when he was driven into the Vulpian Woods by
Westlandish mercenaries. After residing with the kitsune for a
brief time, he was captured and tortured by the Lycanthians. Soon,
however, he was rescued by Culric and his human companion,
Thorfinn. After a long battle with the Lycanthians following
his rescue, Dhinn joined Culric’s Company.
Dhinn is young by elf standards and as a result can be irrational and brash when angered. As a general rule, however,
he tends to be cheerful and light-hearted, even in the face of danger. He enjoys poking fun at others—particularly
Thorfinn—and can be tactless and immature when he is annoyed. Whatever his shortcomings, he makes up for them
with his sharp wits and cunning fighting skills. He is very skilled at tracking and moving quietly, and is the eyes
and ears of the Company. He is flexible and acrobatic, but not particularly strong in hand to hand combat. He can fight with a
dagger or his bare fists, but dislikes doing so, as his archery skills are second-to-none.
