Werewolves are victims of a condition called Lycanthropy, an illness caused by the drawing of blood by another
werewolf. By day, they appear normal, although there are a few signs that they are infected, such as the fact that
they flinch at religious symbols, they have accelerated appetite, and an accelerated sexual desire. By the light of
the full moon, however, they metamorphose into a ravenous wolf-beast, capable of great destruction. In this transformed
state, the victim is completely unaware of his actions and has no memory of them when he returns to his normal state
the next morning. Werewolves can only be killed by silver, immortal, or religiously augmented weapons. The only known
cure for Lycanthropy is the single bite of a Vampyre. Werewolves can
be repelled by religous symbols. |
