Description

Ant-lions are bizarre creatures that seem to elude a specific category. Although supposedly a combination of a lion and an ant, the beast does not seem to resemble either of these creatures, instead appearing to be a type of larva or worm-beast with teeth and mandibles. The ant-lion burrows under the ground, much as the sandworm does, only it does not secrete slime and is usually partial to moist climates. It is extremely aggressive, and will draw you down into the earth and devour you if you walk over its domain.

Ant-lions are often found in colonies, much like ants, and will eat anything they come across and deem as edible. They are found in most bogs and swamps, and sometimes near Eastlandish territory.
